A little black Moleskine book has been my knitting companion for more than a year now.
It was where I recorded projects and data about yarn I bought. I used it to keep track of my intentions. I also wrote out patterns to understand them better and to track my progress and figure out where I was when I picked up a project after a gap in time. Best of all, if I had altered a pattern and wanted to do it again, all the information about what I had done was there.
But it has mysteriously gone missing. I have a grocery bag in progress that I'm knitting with construction twine. Very little except the pattern resembles the project I downloaded from Ravelry. I'm entering a change in needle size and am just done in trying to figure out what I should be using. Arrggghhh! It wouldn't be so bad, if this weren't the second of a pair that I'm giving to friends.
At least knitting is not brain surgery.
